Godfrey Nolan, President of RIIS is interviewed for his thoughts on VisibleThread. Start-up VisibleThread launched its document structure and quality analysis tool this week. Utilizing natural language analysis, semantic search, pattern analysis and regular expression matching, VisibleThread automatically detects structure and quality deficiencies in IT documentation, as well as provides an actionable view into the health and status of all project documentation.
RIIS plans to triple its staff to 75-80 people by the end of 2011. The company's staff stands at 24 people, one intern and 3-4 independent contractors today.
Gov. Jennifer Granholm's office announced Tuesday that RIIS was one of three Oakland County companies — along with nine other entities — that plan to create more than 2,900 new jobs and generate over $162 million in new investment in Michigan.
